Welcome to Helia Studios! By accessing or using this website (the “Site”), or by engaging in services with Helia Studios, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Scope of Services

Helia Studios provides custom digital design services including, but not limited to:

  • Website design and development (on no-code platforms)
  • Website maintenance and polishing
  • Branding and logo design
  • Marketing and social media graphics

All deliverables are digital.

Printing services are not provided, although we may collaborate with third-party printers upon request.


2. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:
  • Provide all required materials (e.g., high-quality images, accurate copy) in a timely manner
  • Review and proofread all materials prior to approval
  • Respond to communications within 72 hours unless otherwise agreed
  • Notify Helia Studios of any delays or obstacles that may affect the project timeline

Copy and Content Responsibility:
Helia Studios may provide light copywriting support or placeholder text as part of the design process. However, this assistance is not a substitute for professional copywriting services. Clients are fully responsible for reviewing, editing, and approving all final text content. Helia Studios is not liable for any errors, omissions, or outcomes related to the use of written content.


3. Payment Terms

A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to begin all projects. The remaining 75% balance is due upon final approval, before final files or access is delivered. All payments are non-refundable once made, including after client approval.

Project fees are determined individually and outlined in custom agreements. Some services may be charged hourly depending on scope.


4. Intellectual Property

Clients own final, approved deliverables once full payment is received. Helia Studios retains:

  • Ownership of working files, drafts, and unused concepts
  • The right to repurpose unused work for other projects
  • The right to showcase completed work in portfolios, social media, and marketing

Stock images and fonts used are either royalty-free or sourced from reputable libraries (e.g., Google Fonts, Adobe, Canva, platform-native libraries). Helia Studios will coordinate with clients on font and image usage.


5. Revisions and Scope

Projects include up to three (3) rounds of revisions. Feedback must be specific and actionable. Requests beyond the original project scope, or additional revisions, will incur extra fees as outlined in individual contracts. Helia Studios reserves the right to decline requests that contradict design best practices or compromise quality.


6. Termination & Cancellation

Clients may cancel a project at any time. However:
  • The 25% deposit is non-refundable.
  • Clients will be invoiced for any work completed up to the point of cancellation, as outlined in the individual contract.

Helia Studios reserves the right to terminate a project or client relationship at any time, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Non-responsiveness. Failure to reply within 72 hours of receiving a message or request for feedback from Helia Studios.
  • Non-payment. Outstanding balance not paid within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Unprofessional conduct. Including but not limited to the use of inappropriate language, repeated disrespect toward the design process or creative decisions, or any behavior that compromises a collaborative and respectful working relationship.
  • Ongoing delays. Client-caused delays, missed deadlines, or unaddressed feedback that significantly affect project progress or timelines.
  • General unproductivity. Any other circumstances that make the working relationship unproductive, unsustainable, or misaligned with Helia Studios’ values and processes.

Refunds & Fees:
No refunds will be issued in the event of Helia Studios-initiated termination. Clients may still be responsible for payment for work completed, as specified in the contract. Cancellation fees may apply based on project type and progress.


7. Liability & Disclaimers

Helia Studios is not responsible for:
  • Performance or uptime of third-party platforms (e.g., Showit, Tally, social media sites)
  • Technical errors beyond our control
  • The client's business outcomes, revenue, or audience response to completed designs by Helia Studios

All services and deliverables are provided “as-is.” Clients assume full responsibility and risk for their use.


8. Communication Policy

  • All major project communication must be in writing—preferably via email—to ensure clarity and documentation.
  • New or potential clients must complete the design inquiry form on the Helia Studios website to initiate a project conversation. Direct emails from new contacts without a completed inquiry form do not guarantee a response.
  • Clients may text between 9 AM and 5 PM CST for quick check-ins or updates, but phone calls are discouraged unless pre-scheduled. Helia Studios does not offer on-demand or ongoing phone support.
  • Emails may be sent at any time; however, responses will be sent according to Helia Studios' availability. Immediate responses are not guaranteed.

9. Timelines & Delays

Estimated timelines are outlined in each contract. If a client delays required content by more than 72 hours, a “delayed content fee” may apply and projects may be canceled.

In case of illness or emergency, the project timeline will be adjusted.


10. Updates to Terms

Helia Studios reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this website. Continued use of the Site or services indicates acceptance of the revised Terms. Individual contracts supersede these terms in case of any conflict.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles.
